Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Program Management Leader to lead and coordinate cross-functional efforts for our pre-clinical and clinical stage program(s) as well as playing a pivotal alliance management role for our research collaboration(s). You will work closely with all development functions, research and business teams to ensure the successful definition and execution of strategic objectives, timelines, and budgets for key programs.
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, and coordination of activities related to one or more drug development programs.
Drive alignment across cross-functional teams including all functional area stakeholders making sure functions work in close collaboration to deliver the company goals.
Develop and manage integrated project plans, timelines, risk assessments, and budgets.
Track program milestones and deliverables, providing regular updates to leadership.
Facilitate team meetings, generate minutes, and ensure follow-up on action items.
Independent and proactive work style, mainly office-based.
Proactively plan for near term cross functional deliverables to make team aware of future program opportunities and threats.
Collaborate with Finance and Portfolio Management Committee to support resource planning and forecasting.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards throughout program execution.
Manage the alignment of partnerships with our overarching business goals, ensuring that collaborations contribute to the organization's growth and mission.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (PhD, MS, MBA) preferred.
10+ years of experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries.
Strong background in small molecule drug development, including pre-IND, phase I/II, and research.
Proven experience in project/program management; PMP certification and Microsoft project a plus.
Alliance Management experience a plus but not required.
Project Leadership experience a plus
Proven ability at relationship building, fostering trust and collaboration between diverse teams and organizational cultures.
Excellent problem solver, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
