Role:
The Biology and Translational Sciences group at TRIANA Biomedicines is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Research Associate to support biology and pharmacology activities as part of TRIANA’s molecular glue discovery engine. The qualified candidate will join a growing team of dedicated researchers seeking to deliver on TRIANA’s target-first approach to molecular glue discovery.
Responsibilities:
Conduct experiments to characterize molecular and phenotypic response to molecular glue compounds in tissue culture cells
Conduct cell-based assays to monitor target/effector proximity, target ubiquitination, and target degradation
Manage routine tissue culture activities, including cryostorage inventory, QC of cell lines, and generation of lentiviral reagents
Record and communicate data promptly
Present data in multiple team settings
Qualifications:
Experience with common molecular and cell biology techniques such as cell culture and Western blotting
Strong verbal and writing skills for data documentation and communication to team members
Team-oriented, flexible, enthusiastic, and collaborative
Education/experience:
Bachelor’s degree in biology or related discipline with 1-2 years of post-Bachelor’s experience or co-op in biotech or pharma company as part of undergraduate program
