Role: 

The Biology and Translational Sciences group at TRIANA Biomedicines is seeking a passionate and independent scientist to help drive pre-portfolio activities to populate an expanding pipeline of high value oncology targets. The qualified candidate will join a growing team of dedicated researchers seeking to deliver on TRIANA’s target-first approach to molecular glue discovery. 

Responsibilities:

  • Use genetic and chemical tools to evaluate the protein turnover mechanisms of high value oncology targets 

  • Optimize proximity-based methods to identify target/effector pairs for glue discovery 

  • Partner with colleagues in Lead Discovery to design and develop cell-based assays for molecular glue discovery 

  • Interrogate cellular mechanism of action of novel glues in disease-relevant assay systems 

  • Record, interpret, and communicate data promptly  

  • Present data in cross-functional project team meetings 

 Qualifications:

  • Solid bench skillset with hands-on experience in molecular and cell biology techniques such as cell culture, CRISPR, RNAi, transfection, lentiviral transduction, immunoprecipitation, immunoblotting, qRT-PCR, and cell proliferation/viability assays 

  • Solid verbal and writing skills for data documentation, drafting reports and communication to team members 

  • Team-oriented, flexible, independent, enthusiastic, and collaborative  

Education/experience:  

Ph.D. in Cell or Molecular Biology or related discipline with 0-3+ years of post-graduate experience (industry preferred), or BS/MS with 5+ years of industry experience
